Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

Each year, we collect funds for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. In the past, we have been focused on the dollar amount that we send in, and while that is important, this year we tried to emphasize the people that money will be used to reach. This is how it was done.

Since all of the money collected from the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering goes directly to missions work in North America, including the US and Canada this year’s offering was called “Sponsor A State”.

Here is how it worked: Individuals, families, or clasess chose a state or province to sponsor. Each one cost $10 for initial sponsorship. Each additional sponsorship of $10 added one star to the state on the map. Our goal was to sponsor every state and province, so that all people in North America could hear the good news about Jesus Christ.

During the month of March, the KaPOW! kids shared different things during the morning worship services about the offering; such as, why we do it and where the money goes.
